Craig spent 8 weeks on the In-Patient Unit at Kirkwood before he died in 2011. I will always be grateful for the way the Hospice looked after him and supported me and the kids during such a difficult and emotional time. The love and care we received from the staff was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. They made the time we had left as a family more meaningful, and allowed me and the kids to say goodbye properly. I am happy that we were all able to share some quality time together before Craig left us. It made all the difference in the world. The Hospice was able to give Craig the comfort and dignity in his last days that he would not have had otherwise. Looking back, I am not sure what I would have done without Kirkwood. It would have been impossible for me to look after Craig as well the children. Kirkwood was there for us when we needed them the most. It is a place full of wonderful and loving people and will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Erica.x.x.x.
